John Leisering provided play-by-play for many Erie Panther games through the 90's. No stranger to Erie hockey,
Leisering also did play-by-play for the Erie Golden Blades, as well as the public address announcer for the Erie Blades from
1978-82.
John is currently Director of Hockey Operations for Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. Leisering had served as Mercyhurst's
Sports Information Director for the previous nine years.
